Safety information and limitations

They must not be used to look directly at intense light sources, such as the sun, welding arcs, plasma or any other high-intensity light source.

They do not provide protection against nuclear radiation, X-rays, laser radiation or infrared radiation.

They are not suitable for applications requiring specific protection against liquid splashes, vapours, fine dust or other hazards not covered by their protection marking.

High-speed particles may pose a risk when combined with extreme temperatures.

They must not be used if the frame is damaged, broken or deformed.

Matt, scratched or damaged lenses must be replaced immediately.

The correct size of safety glasses must always be used, together with any other protective equipment required according to the risk.

Prolonged contact with the skin may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. In the event of irritation, stop using the glasses and consult a doctor.

Tinted glasses may alter colour perception and reduce visibility under certain lighting conditions; they must not be used where this could compromise safety.
