Complete centrifugal clutch assembly with bell housing for competition scooters.

The system comprises the famous patented adjustable Delta Clutch and the reinforced Wing Clutch Bell, featuring cooling fins, dynamically balanced and designed for both everyday and sporting use.

Delta Clutch

The Delta Clutch is a clutch developed in the world of scooter racing and has quickly become a benchmark for vehicle tuning.

The simplicity of the system allows the tension of the spring that counteracts the centrifugal force to be adjusted very quickly, as well as the replacement of this spring with others having a different K-constant, as specified in the Malossi catalogue.

Another advantage is the ability to adjust the position of the weight that determines the pressure of the friction material against the inner walls of the bell housing, as well as to replace this weight with one of a different mass.

The entire system is patented to protect it against counterfeits and copies.

Over time, Delta has gained recognition from the most qualified technicians and is used by numerous racing teams and sports enthusiasts.

As is customary at Malossi, the product has been continuously developed and optimised through small but significant improvements, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge.

It is important to note that Malossi clutches have never contained asbestos. To achieve current levels of quality and reliability, Malossi has invested heavily in research, particularly into high-temperature-resistant friction materials capable of maintaining a constant coefficient of friction even under prolonged stress.

DC04 mild steel bell housing, produced by cold forging.

Carbon steel central shaft, machined from bar stock and joined by TIG welding.

Soft nitriding thermochemical treatment.

Alloyed carbon steel reinforcement ring, machined by chip removal, with a burnished surface finish and fitted with an interference fit.

100% dynamically balanced.

Given the high level of interest in these two products, Malossi offers a kit that includes both components in a single assembly.

This allows us to offer two high-quality products in a single set at a slightly more affordable price.
