Description

Anti-explosion thermal clutch bells are fitted with a reinforced ring featuring fins to dissipate the heat generated mainly during start-up and when the vehicle accelerates from low speeds.

This is a technological innovation derived from research carried out in the field of scooter racing.

This is the principle on which it is based:

the larger radial surface area significantly reduces the operating temperature of the clutch bell, considerably extending the service life of the clutch assembly.

The clutch assembly is subjected to high stress during urban journeys, when pulling away from a standstill and when exiting tight bends with two people on board.

Therefore, to protect your clutch, Malossi has developed the Maxi Wing Clutch Bell.

It should not be forgotten that the finned reinforcement ring is in itself an anti-explosion feature, as it has been designed to withstand the high rotational speeds imposed by sporty riding, particularly if the engine has been tuned, bearing in mind that centrifugal force increases squared as revs rise.
