RFX PRO LOCK ON GRIPS, BLK

The RFX Lock-On grip has been CAD designed, prototyped and tested in conjunction with RFX sponsored riders. The ultra-low density 15 SA rubber compound and carefully placed ergonomic ridges mirror the hand make for optimal grip and ensure the correct hand placement for maximum control around the racetrack.

It features a new and improved lock-on system for quick and easy installation. The cut-out in the lock-on tube has been elongated to increase the surface area that clamps onto the bars, this also squashes the rubber grip so that it pushes into the bar when clamped, providing more adhesion to the bars compared with other lock-on grips that only clamp at the very end.

At the outside of the knurling the grip measures 29mm making it a thin grip as preferred by pro racers, without compromising on material thickness to make it a strong and sturdy grip.

Ergonomic Flexible Ridges

The ridges have been designed to promote the correct hand position for control. They're closer together at the end of the grip to allow for the fact that the Distal, Middle and Digital creases get closer together on the last two fingers. This unique layout for the raised ridges has been calculated by taking mouldings of rider's hands in the correct riding position. With 3D printing technology, it has been possible to print, test and make adjustments to get an accurate fit to suit most riders.

Increased Clamping Area

Other lock on tubes only clamp at the very end. The RFX Lock-On grip features an elongated cut-out in the plastic clamp tube which reduces stress on the plastic and also allows the rubber to compress and push against the bar. This greatly increases the surface area that clamps onto the bar making a secure fit and with the tube under less stress it's also less likely to crack under impact.

Super Soft 15SA Comp Density

The throttle and clamp tubes have been designed to reinforce the flange area meaning that an extra soft 15SA compound can be used for the grip area making it tacky for superior grip.
