Description

All Malossi cast iron and aluminium cylinders are divided into different classes according to tolerance.

Classes from ‘0’ (smallest piston) to ‘D’ (largest piston) are available, each with 0.01 mm spacing.

The following oversizes are only available for grey cast iron cylinders:

34 3448.40      enlarged by 0. 4 mm larger

34 3448.80      0.8 mm larger

Old pistons are also available in oversizes + 0.2 mm and +0. 6 mm (e.g. 34 3448.20 - 34 4375.60). 

All Malossi cylinders are categorised by size and bear a size mark, week number and year.

All Malossi pistons bear the size marking (letter or number).

An arrow on the piston crown shows how the piston should be correctly aligned when used in cylinders. The arrow should point in the direction of the outlet.
